I've thought about this before, may end up going this route now.

Correct indeed! You can pick up a set if you keep your eyes open for those with 7s who upgrade to other wheels.

Diego- how bad is the play? You can get hub-centering rings from tire shops.

I love the kdw/2 a lot so far. I just got them mounted on Friday and they beat my expectations by a huuuge margin!

Yes, that's what i thought, center rings to get it right. But they aren't mine yet, but I could pay for it cheap.

It has some play, you just cant run them with out center rings or sort of, it's like runing "egged" wheels on the car.

here are my actual rims with out paint yet. E46 16"

Word. I got a set for $120. They are the old style 5's, but the new E39 style 5's everyone knows. Did you need spacers? Fred Kim is running the same wheels and said he needed a small spacer to clear the calipers. I wouldn't know since I still need brakes to complete my 5 lug.

                          Dan - :giggle:

                          BwanaC - I love camber.

Freak -The 225s don't rub in the front @ full lock or in the rear. As you can see in the pic - the rear is VERY CLOSE. It doesn't rub during auto-x or during me pulling in and out of my driveway or other steep inclines.

Devo - Yes indeed. I have always had a 5mm spacer upfront to clear the caliper as you've already figured out from Fred. I actually got the wheels for less than $100 too 8-)

                          MikeK -You're a traitor

Mariano - I am yet to run a mesh wheel with caps. I usually go capless with the mesh wheels. The studs also prevent me from even wanting to change my mind ever!

Correct indeed. They are from a euro e34 hence being staggered and fitting directly on the e30m3 hubs. They are actually called CROSS-SPOKE,COMPOSITE WHEEL style 5 PN 36111182305, 36111182217
