    Mpg

I searched, and there was a few threads about M42 gas mileage. But I have an M20 sooo, what kind of MPG do you M20 guys get? I took a pic of mine today, but I wasn't so sure if it was accurate.

My '90 325is 5 speed gets 27mpg with no cat on 93 octane on trips. I live in the mountains.

holy crap, 34MPG is kinda ridiculous in an m20, but I sure would love to get that kinda mileage. I've been averaging 24mpg and drive 60 street/40 highway, but usually drive with a heavy foot. When my Dad was commuting with it and driving 10/90 street/highway he was getting about 27mpg

      :(^SOLD^:(

I get over 28mpg in my 533i on the highway, and about 23 to 24 in the city. Once I drove from Denver to Glennwood Springs, about 170 miles through the mountains, and over 3 passes and still averaged 27mpg with 4 people in the car! Only mods are 19lb injectors and a 3.0 bar FPR. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the M20 that used to be in my E30 because the day after I got it running, I pulled it out on a whim...

the OBC is notoriously inaccurate. I'd do the simple math with the trip odometer.

I think I got about 25 on the way out to Rapid City from Boise. I was moving over 105 the entire way though - so I didn't care.

oh, and I had an extra 300 lbs of crap in my car. lol

Okay guys, I knew it was kinda iffy when I saw it was 34MPG too. So I went to the car and reset it. Took a drive and now I'm getting 26MPG, so that seems more accurate yes?
