    Early morning mini-shoot

Just got my hands on a analogue EOS Rebel. So hereby my first attempts exprerimenting with the different settings and such. I must say i got disappointed with the amount of noise in some of them. All images are unedited except for the tag blurr and size reduction.

If you care to explain more please do!

From those settings i did a shutter speed of 1/30 sec. using FujiFilm 400 DX. I found out later in the day that for dark shots i should select an shutter speed of say 2-3 whole seconds.

Do point me in the better direction

Change the wheels (IMO) and your car will own all. ;)

If you're having trouble with noise it's because you're probablly hand holding the camera and you have to run a high ISO in light conditions like that in order to get shots that have a high enough shutter speed to keep everything in focus. I really like the lighting in shot #6 too. Those aren't bad for your fist time out.

So, go buy a tripod and then you can shoot with an ISO of 100 in any low light conditions with out worrying about noise or out of focus shots. I learned that the hard way also :)

You can also get some really cool shots at night if you have a tripod and are shooting long exposures. Especially if you can find the newer streetlights that have the bulbs that shine white light instead of yellow. You will get extremely saturated shots without having to play with them in photoshop at all.
