what is the red stuff on the inside of your engine block? I'm assuming it's not just paint.

Its called Zinc phosphate primer. Aids in getting the oil back to the sump quicker.

Damn, how much for the pistons? Whats the bore?

Pistons were about $900USD from Topend Performance in LA. That included shipping to me in Australia. Bore is 95mm.
