Haha, that was when i was 17 years old! I actually bought the car from a friend who is an incredible painter and the car had the kit, and paint and i went from there. It actually handled incredible well, Eibach pro springs, koni SA's M3 sway bars and dont forget it only weighed 2420 lbs with a half tank and full "bumpin" stereo that prolly weighed 150 lbs..

I am going to look for a time slip, i ran a 14.4 in the 1/4 mile at 12 psi..not bad for no LSD and burning out through 1rst and 2nd and into 2rd...

No offense to you, Branden, but this pic is further proving that the BMP kit is complete crap. That thing looks like it's melting in the sun. I've only seen 2 cars that that kit ever looked good on, and they both had to spend a few grand at the body shop to get it to fit right.

I know brandon had NO reinforcement under that bumper I think that is most of the flex.

Like backtrail said, there was no re-enforcement becasue when BMP sent the kit to the previous owner they didnt send the mounting brackets soo he had to fabricate them himself... I was planning on a Front mount for th wide opening but the car was never my style...glad i got rid of it but at the same time sad..i really liked the power and paint
