Nice! That's a very similar to the setup I'm going to be running by the end of the week, including the Bosch ICONS. I'm going with Hankook snow tires because I've had good luck with them on a different car, and their cheaper. :)

I almost went with those based on the success I've had with their summer performance tires (the RS-2 Z212s).

Andy, I was going to ask you: what's the ballpark figure on refinishing your basketweaves? I'm going to upgrade my POS aftermarket wheels to baskets come spring, and I'm wondering whether I should pay top dollar for immaculate baskets, or buy some okay ones and have them refinished? Wondering what prices I'd be looking at.

I used a local shop called Wheel Medic (I'm sure you could ship your wheels and use them too). They charge $110 per wheel… kind'a pricey, but they do really good work.

you payed 110 dollars per wheel for winter wheels to be refinished???????????
WOW!!!! spraypaint works just fine for the winter and it costs about 4 dollars for the set.

                anyway
E30 winter fun!!! I have no problem with mine through the winter here in germany- a set of MS tires, and no problems, plus its fun to play the drift master when its wet out!
