        They mount w/combo of clips and drilling(unfortunately). I am not sure either which I would do, paint them brillant or paint them black. ????

          You should stick some exterior black tape under the side skirts.
          Or electrical tape to cover up the under part where the pinch clips are.
          I did that to mine and looks much better because they stuck out like a sore thumb since mine are white.

              mine are mounted with clips and screws. someone mentioned using double sided tape of some sort instead of the screws.

              on your car, i think i would go with the red sides, just because your "is" lip is red. i think the black works well on trent's car because it matches the lip. IMHO
