335i New Wheels and Snow Pics

Well i got the 17s mounted up this weekend and it decides to friggin snow like crazy this weekend and is currently 23 degrees outside with possibly more snow but definitely icy as shit!
here are some pics i took of the car this morning.
btw if anyone was on I-5 N last night i apologize, i had to stop for traffic, lost momentum and was stuck in ice and slush like several tractor trailers, and many many other trucks and cars. no LSD sucks!
towing bill was $335 and i had a 4 hour commute home.
here are some pics from this morning in shoreline...

We have about 4-5" of snow in our yard and the streets are all iced up. I'm going nowhere, spent all morning trying to clear the driveway enough to get my baby off the street...

The wheels are true SSR 17x7" GT1's and weigh in at about 17.5lbs each

didn't have an option, it started snowing in the middle of my commute and i had no exits to get off cause i was on the express lanes... the torque just made it impossible to go anywhere, i saw a little 318i doing ok but was still sliding.

thanks for the compliments! the rear shroud and bumper will be painted like the front when it is warm enough

Dude, get some snows and you'll do just fine. The "torque" has nothing to do with it.

Where did you get them from?

You'd be surprised, I threw some cheap Semperit snow tires on my bottlecaps and my e30 made it through anything last winter.

nope, not salt on WA roads. sand yea but no salt. i'm not driving in it, the car has too much torque for a one tire fire so i get spinnin anytime i try to move.
