    then e30 and now e30

This was my first e30 (86 325) that I purchased for $1900 a couple of years ago. I sold it this past summer.

Now I recently (yesterday) bought a 1990 325i vert with 140k miles with all records and woman owned for $1900 also. It's clean outside and needs some seat love on the inside (seat tears). The motor is tight and it has bilsteins on it with new yoko es100 tires on the baskets. It needs a new back window also. I've never been fond of the vert e30's but I kinda dig them now :)

mods have already started and I plan to lower it ASAP!

question: sedan E30 springs will fit E30 cabrios right?

I'm pretty sure that rear cabrio springs are different.

I think all e30 springs are the same minus the M3's but you will have a saggy ass and no one wants that. Great looking car, you will learn to love your vert, I promise. Post up some pics of the interior. Whats wrong with the rear window?

get springs that were made for the vert, the rears need to be stiffer or youll sag like a bitch
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

M3 springs will fit standard E30s except for ixs and verts. In fact, the H&R Sport part numbers are the same for 325e, 325i, 318is, and M3.

When I bought my new top the shop that installed it let us use some plastic window stuff that makes it look new. We used it on our MG Midgets rear window, dried and cracked, now it looks brand new with no scratchs. I can check it out and see who makes it if you want me too?

The window is completely split open.

the spring rate is higher in the rear on the cabrio over the coupe/sedans. I had cabrio h&r sports & bil sports on my cabby... and no rubber in the suspension- it was an amazing car.
