My g/f took my new battery to work with her(I bought it last night and left it in the trunk). :\

Test drive tomarrow instead. Doh.
I did put all the trim and interior I could find back on the car, today. As well as mounted the brake bias adjuster knob, and glued my new ultra thin carpet in.

Putting in an SR into any car really is a matter of...
a. will it fit? go measure
b. make mounts for the engine and trans
c. make a driveshaft out of the two driveshafts.
d. wire the engine harness to the chassis
e. make an exhaust
f. make intercooler piping
g. fix everything else that didn't go according to plan(this is the hard part that takes forever)

My friend found this at the junkyard when I asked him to find me an IS lip. I humored him and just screwed it on. Its ugly, but I think I like it. My valence is all fux0red anyway.

Pedals. Yup. Gotta clean up the brake lines and bend the gas petal a little.



Still gotta cut the center console about 1/4" to clear for reverse.



Defi gauges are working. :D Just need to add a tach adapter.

It's in there. I drove the car about.... 100 yards. I had no water in the system yet. Tomarrow a real test drive! AND TUNE THE DAMN BRAKES!

If all goes well then I'll hit the dyno for a double check on the ecu tune, and stick my shiny new dash in.

The brakes are a willwood 3 pedal setup with individual m/c's, remote reservoirs, and brake bias adjuster doo-dad. In the end I couldn't fit a brake booster. :\

+1...What did you do for a braking system?. That is crazy awesome looking and very easy to put almost anywhere I would imagine.

Yup, I didn't forget. I had one for about a week until I decided that all the cuting and fitting and fabwork would destroy the e30. The work to get it down was well beyond my means, and I really think in retrospect that it was a better idea to use the 300rwhp motor I already had working perfectly.

Yah I had to 'settle' for what I have, but I think it'll turn out right being some 400 lbs lighter, and not changing anything to the structure of the car.
