    a little something

I've been buying a lot of maintenance parts for the car, but I finally decided to buy a little something to improve the look...at least imo

    Before:

    After:

Euro grills and black kidney ftw, sorry for low quality pics, it's cold as hell out tonight (and raining) so I wasn't paying attention to settings. I just wanted to get back inside my warm house =x

Looks good! Any plans to get the windows tinted? Also, I think a nice lip/valence for the front bumper would look good.

Thanks guys. I actually like the chrome and black kidneys about the same, but I think the black is more aggressive and plus I wanted something new. I def prefer the euro grills though.

I'll add better pics tomorow. Shivering + slow shutter speed = bad.

Bimmerista: Yeah, I've been thinkin about getting it tinted. Do you know a good shop? How much did it run you?

I got my e46 done at Tritek in Richardson almost 4 years ago & never had any problems. Its actually one of my favorite mods done to my e46.

They did a great job, their shop is located just 1/2 mile west of Central Expwy on Arapaho Rd. A nice tint job should run you about $150-170 & you get a lifetime warranty.

the black grill will look a lot better when you get plastic bumpers.

the reason i didnt just paint it black was because of the "chrome" on the bumpers and the chrome kidneys were the only chrome items left after the shadowline.

i agree that blacks meaner looking but the chrome really helped out the DBs a lot

                        looks good otherwise

I painted my grills a dark gun metal instead of black. They used to be black, replaced them and didn't want to go with black because I thought it needed some contrast.
