        looks great in summer trim.
yeah, mine is an auto, and it sputters really bad at higher than 3500rpms, so it is really fun to drive as you can imagine.

[quote=backtrail69;639189]Yours is auto isn't it? Mine is a 5sp and has a LSD + chip... It is great fun. I love the low end torque the e motor has and most importantly the fuel economy...

                  3.25LSD?
Wouldn't that plus the chip defeat the purpose of having better fuel economy?

I have a chip and 3.25 LSD and it still does great on gas. It would obviously be better with the stock diff but mine was in need of replacement and I also needed the better gearing to tow the E30 trailer.

I get 25+ MPG all the time. I have a 2.93 LSD from a 325es and a Dinan Chip. I get better mileage than my 18 mpg with my 2002 and my 15-18ish with my turbo car that all I care about and the car is ultra reliable and that is what I need while I am gone 9 months of the year at school.

                        Get this.....

I tried calling my local BMW dealership to get a hold of the proper euro connectors so i can install my Bosch Euro Ellipsoids and their tech told me it would be absurd for me to put HID's in. They wouldn't work properly and scatter light everywhere without the proper projectors [which he says the Bosch dont have]

What the hell do I do? Im assuming im going in the right direction with buying these euro connectors. I have no idea how else to get these lights installed.

Please help the HID/Ellipsoid noob :(

                          Oh my!

I've got an '85 Zinno eta as well...original owner is my Grandma.

That pic just made me spooge my pants. Understated, but very clean. Def. gonna do a black interior swap and Euro bumpers. No plastic for me, thanks.

Well if you're installing HID's in the low beams you don't even need the OEM connectors for those. You would just need them for the high beams and city lights. Don't bother mentioning that you're installing HID's, dealer employees can be pretty clueless sometimes.

I only needed to have the euro connectors for the high beams and the city lights (not necessary, but nicer) The low beams I had two wires going to the ballast/ignitor box and then you plugged in the HID bulb into the box. I removed the covers on the back of the lights. As long as you have a H1 HID kit it will work just fine. I would recoment jumping the 30 pin on the low/high Relays so the HIDs stay on when you turn on your high beams so they dont have to recharge everytime you flash your lights......MR 325 beat me out..

That's one of the nicest E30 sedans I've ever seen. Awesome car. I've got a Zinno vert and I'd love to get some Ronals and euro bumpers. Someday...
