    First Post project E30

Hello I am new on here. Just wanted to post my e30. I previously had a e46 328i but in october I traded it on a Infiniti FX. I missed my BMW so much I had to get a project car. I purchased this 1985 318i.

1/14/2007 My friend and I trailored it back to my house.

    So far I have installed:
    Dash
    Steering wheel
    Center console
Rear Shocks (There were no shocks on the rear (Kinda Scary))
    Hood latch
    Glove Box
    New Passenger rear window
Intake (The was no airbox when I got it)
    Tune Up
    Oil Change
    Basket Weave Wheels
    Tail Lights
    Trunk Gasket
    Front Windshield Gasket
    Sunroof Crank
    VDO Gauge Cluster
    4 Way Flasher button
    New HVAC Panel
Exhaust Mount (It was hanging on by speaker wire)

Sitting in my house to install:
    New black racing seats
    Harnesses
    Clutch Kit
    Thermostat
    Hoses
    Belts
    H&R Sport Springs
    Front Shocks
    Door Panels
    Rear Parcel Shelf
    Black Grills

    On the way:
    Euro smiley headlights
    Sway bars
Ansa Cat Back (Not going expaensive because engine is not staying)
    Carbon Fiber OEM hood
    window tint
    Summer body work:
    M3 spoiler
    m3 rear bumper
Front bumper????? (Still looking suggestions welcome)
    m3 side skirts
    Paint ????

    Plans:
    S50 Motor swap
    5 lug conversion
    Rear disc conversion
    3.73 or 4.10 Rear diff

Nice to see another MD guy! I remember seeing your E46 with pictures from the Bay Bridge, is that correct? Was with a black E46 too, very nice stuff, you should post those too!

What plans do you have for the E30? Or is it a daily driver/commuter?

Do you come to the Rockville show on Fridays? Dunno if I saw you there.
      Reminiscing...

Yes that was mine and my friend Andy's E46s on the Bay bridge.

I will have to find the pics.

                  Looks like a fun project!

Your story sounds a lot like mine too. I traded my 1998 M3 sedan in on a Nissan Murano, then missed it so much that I had to go out and find an E30. I actually just picked up the E30 less than a month ago.

                  Good luck with the project!

We should have an Infiniti/Nissan sub forum here... My Daily driver is an FX as well.

Yeah I have had the FX for about 3 months.

I have done tint, K&N Air Filter, Stillen Z tube, Plenum Spacer, and factory clear taillights.

I bought my e30 for less than all of that stuff cost. The FX is now just a daily driver.

Nice, did the plenum spacer make a difference?

I've done H+R springs, tint, and the Nissan Ipod interface.

Yeah the plenum made a big difference I would say 10-15 HP. Let me know more about the Ipod interface.

We have the same exact car almost. Mine is White with chrome 20" oem wheels
