        No cops, one curb on an e46 330iX, no damage (just grazed it, snow was hardpack so it reduced the blow). And yes, I know my license plates are out. I have the change the holders, too damn busy for that right now. Haven't gotten pulled over for that yet, so I'll act stupid when it happens :)

                    Yeah, Toronto isn't that bad, where I live in Kitchener/Waterloo (snow belt) we get accumulation almost everyday. Snow tires are a must on e30's especially when it gets really cold!!

                      former Durham/Hannover resident here :D...I remember building tunnels and igloos in the snow banks when i was young :D

                        be careful not to do that for two aweful long, i've cooked 2 diffs doing that, friction disks get hot, and fuse, i was using redline 80w90 in both.. but i don't imagine dounuts tach'd out in 5th helped any....

                            That's called "abuse". I do my drifts low in the RPM range, barely spinning the tires more than necessary. Never had problems with e30 LSD's.

                              if you want to be technical, spining tires period is abuse. anything that isn't necessary to get from point a to point b is abuse, in one form or another.
