In fairness, the "before" pic was taken by a pro photographer with the car freshly detailed. "After" is with the car filthy and a point and shoot outside of my garage.

A new set of pics (which I am working on) may help make it a more fair comparison.

In my opinion it looks way better with the old wheels.

your new wheels are too chrome looking. Bling* Bling*

I never liked the before wheels... they looked good in pics but thats about it. the new ones are a step in the right direction, they look good. but they arn't wide enough as it was already stated. Good choice!

If they made those remembers in 17, I'd probably pick up a set. In 16, they're a few inches too narrow.

That said, they look damned good from the side view. I think they make your car far classier. The BBS centercaps do look like you "settled" and are trying to make these wheels something they aren't.

Nice cabby, I respect your choices and appreciate all the hard work and $$ that you have in your car. With that said, I'd have gone with 17" Alpina Kopis, I know they are pretty played out in our e30 world, but given your INTERIOR I think they would look awesome. I love the Kopis on plastic bumpered cars.

I agree that a Rondel would look better on the center cap.

I think they look OK, but your other wheels were hot. I like larger wheels on E30's but if the bodywork isnt crazy then big wheels look lame. Plenty of people hated on me for my 19's, but they look baller and it rides just fine. I am still hunting for the right rims to put on my hardtop vert... I think you should paint your hardtop black like mine is, it would look 100x better on your car... Wanna trade? haha...

OT: Your hardtop looks PIMP - big props on that - and I am seriously tempted to do it.

Mine is freshly reupholstered on the inside. If you are serious, shoot me an IM and let's talk. I will be driving my car up to SF from L.A. next week actually.

The one thing I have to say about my unpainted hardtop is that it is a lot easier to look after on a daily driver than a painted one (no waterspots when it rains, waxing it, dusting it, etc.) but I'd still rather have yours. Like I said, let's talk. :)
