mike, you do need to get a shell and swap everything over, your car is literally falling apart, the metal is ripped at the part where the front end connects to the chassis, and it is all bent up

Seriously, it's a slippery fucking slope, and mike is on the most slippery part; it's a piece of shit that he won't ever fix, and yet he's piling more into it. Do it once, do it right. Seriously, the amount of time and effort I invested into this post completely changes my life, all 2 mins of it. Go play in traffic.

What is he piling into it? He bought the car for $50 as a car to drive so he can sell his sentra to buy a more prominent E30. He bought a battery..well two due to an accident, a stereo (can be taken out and put into another car), rims (same as previous), and traded for a sub. The bulk of the money only went into gas and insurance which you would have to pay for no matter what you drive. This car is just a car to make the transfer because he was losing money in the sentra. As soon as we move into our house he is actually gonna buy a better car. As of right now, moving out on our own, starting full time, and starting college is much more pertinent than worrying about what others think of his pos car with no front end.

I would take the fucking bus before I drove on them ugly as rims...maybe some of the ugliest I have ever seen, on top of that, it looks like a freaking 4x4...sorry dude, but just buy some decent rubber for the bottle caps and your car will instantly look 100x better...

and to the no-front end, super weight redux, red thing....well, i could drive that around eigther, just straightening up the body is gonna cost alot more than that pile is worth, and I promise it will never be fixed, get another e30 and use it for parts.

but those rims......god lord, did they come form space or something...puuuuke.

do you honestly think i am going to try to fix this car up? how stupid do you think i would have to be to want to do someting like that? sure, i would take a few pieces and cut them off of mr deagles junked 325is and weld them onto my car just to make it more presentable, but i am not going to take the car to a body shop and have them repair it. i have already done tons of work to that car. i mean i got it up and running again.

and the only reason i would take a few pieces off of the 325is to put on mine is becausei t would be absolutely free. the 325is is going to be junked anyways, so the parts would be free. i have a plasma cutter and an LN25 wirefeed welder at my disposal 24/7 to reweld the parts back onto the car. so no, it would nt cost anything to have the car looking just like yours.

and to everyone who is saying "oh you need to stop dumping money into that car," where are you getting all this info from? i have never said that i have dumped a considerable amount of money into the car. i spent 50 dollars on it. 120 for various front end parts, courtesy of Devo E30. 180ish for batteries, and maybe 50 dollars for various cleaning and small interior parts. that amount of money is nothing comapred to what i make at my job. this car isnt running me dry. my new home and my old car are. and the rims were 100 dollars, but those can be easily switched to another vehicle, as well as the stereo and the sub that i have in the car right now.

grand total, maybe 1200 dollars have been spent on this car. for everything, gas and insurance for 3 months included. i think that is damn good for a car that i can romp on (and i do) and wil lget me from point a to point b. and even though the car is a pile of shit (which i understand completely) it still starts multiple conversations. whether it is the hood, or how i lock the car through the trunk, it always starts a conversation.

the bottom line is, i would rather be 18 and drive a car that isnt fucking beautiful and perfect, and own my own home. thats what it comes down too. and if i really wanted to i could get into my Sentra and drive that thing around. but i dont. because i love E30's. and everything about them. just because my opinion and view of my car differs from yours doesnt mean you have to harp on me about it.

funny thing is, my friend has an e30 with no front end, and it is stroked to 2.8 and makes around 220hp, and he would be pissed if I posted a pic of his car looking like that...but I will anyways...lol
