    Lost in transition

After the last few weeks of mid-20's termperatures, we hit 65 today, so it was time to pull the E30 out and give her a bath. There was so much dust on the car that it was starting to look kind of a satin tan/grey color, it was bad. So nothing special here, just nice and clean again for now, and a decent view of the rear apron mounted.

When I got finished washing it, I took it out for a quick 5 minute drive, too. I didn't realize how much I'd missed driving it. No cluster and no muffler. Damn, that was fun... :D

And check out my new whip in the second pic, '86 Toyota pickup with 93k miles, $300. Can't beat that for a winter beater.

Just the inner section of the window trim will be shadowlined, like on the non-iS late model cars. Someone pointed out to me that the chrome window trim sets off the machined lip of my wheels really nicely, and I agreed, so I decided to just do the partial shadowline. It also won't be as succeptable to chips, being the inner section.

Nice deal on the Toyota. Is it carb'd or fuel injected?

          BTW, nice body kit.

How does one go about getting that rear apron? And also, what are your thoughts on said apron wit euro chromies?

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.

Don't get me wrong, your car is really nice and all, but you should keep super sweet rides like that dodge caravan with the real imitation woodgrade out of the backrounds of your pics, everyone's gunna be looking at the van and completely pass by your car :)

Yeah, the white-trash taxi is one of my neighbors across the street.

Thanks for all the comments, I hope to have that rear apron painted very soon, then I'll get the rear bumper mounted for a couple of teaser pics.

Looks nice Josh--did you pull the moldings to replace them with late-model ones? When will the plastic bumpers be on?

That mini van would only be hot if it was a factory turbo van ;) . Your car will look great when done, and with a carbon fiber licence plate filler. Are those R3VLimited.com decals still avalible?
