    hmmmm, in the high beams a' i still have a set on my 240 to, and they just dont work because there isnt a projector lense in it so its like BAM! blind everyone, al i need is an H1 high beam because those lights are h1 bulbs.
    can i do that? an H1 highbeam housing in the US elip basket's

        We have had bixenon's in our A4 1.8T and our RS4. You wouldn't believe how bright the high beams are...like I compare it to daylight. They come on instantly as well, not sure what the difference is. The low beams come on, adjust, then change color a bit within 10 seconds or so, but the high beams come on, very white color, and then don't adjust. Almost like they are preheated.

        Very nice mod I have been contemplating for the E30. Anyone do an HID install on smoked lenses?

          On the audi they might just have a motorized cutoff that allow the light to project differently(like some bmws). BMW's new xenon system shoots such a high voltage to the bulb you can get a quick flash to pass using the xenons. dunno how old your audi is, but it probably has either one of those systems.
