LOL!!! 8) I get that all the time with my 850i/6. It is true though. Weird how BMW designed that one! I heard the flywheel in the e32/e31 12 cyl motors weighs something like 55 lbs??????

I've been contemplating about those v12s.... they are fairly common in the junkyards and I wonder how much bolts on to m20s (head, intake manifold, MAF, etc)

The valvetrain isn't actually all that much like the M20 at all...

As far as what bolts on...not much at all, the MAF is way different, the head coolant and oil passages are different, the intake runner spacing is different as well I think...you MIGHT be able to adapt the electronic throttlebody, IDK.

This is my 2nd 750...I luv 'em.

Here's the interior that's currently in the car.
I transferred everything from my garage-queen...that car awaits something...cool. :)

Those cars aren't bad at all. Is that E32 a horror to keep running?

                    Not if you've got cash.

Stuff that runs $75-100 on an e30 costs $500+ on the 750.
It also gets about 15ish MPG...less now, since I put the chips and bigger injectors in.

Don't the V12's have that Naksil cylinder issue? I have always feared them for that reason.

If they still run well now, then you shouldn't worry.

The root cause of the Nikasil issue was the sulfur component in U.S. gas.
A problem that's been fixed for many years.

Also, there was a recall on the affected engines.
So anyone who's car actually got downed by Nikasil...is pretty much a moron.

God I hate working on the 750s. They're fun but totally insane to maintain.
