Thanks for all the +ve remarks. Even though its a lead sled (as Greg always says) it is very quick. I always think that it would really eat up the E36 M3s in Clubracing I stock class (after a good weight loss), but who knows.

Right your are! The "recaro-type" sport seats were used on many BMWs in that same period, not just the E30, though power wasn't an option for the E30.
