Finally sold my jeep that i had to get an e30...picked up an 89 325i 2 dr 5 spd in Lachsilber, with a LSD. 183k and all maitanence records on it...has a little bit of rust but nothing major. I like it a whole lot i didnt realize how peppy the i cars are. Cant wait to start modding it and get it on the autocross track

Do the suspension before you go out and buy aftermarket wheels. Nothing looks goofier than a stock ride-height car on big-ass aftermarket rims.
And those wheels are pretty darn ugly. Not to mention they're out of production, so if you bend one, you're SOL. Spend you money on a good suspension kit.

I agree suspension 1st. I have seen those mille's look good on 1 car, but it was absolutly slammed. Search for member slammed_e30. He used to have those on his car.

Thanks...yeah ive had a couple e30's before, a 91 325iX 2dr auto, and an 86 325es, but i like the i the best, its noticeably quicker than the iX IMO...and the wheels i think im going to pass on, definately need to do suspension, are Koni's the way to go for struts, and then what kind of springs, a buddy of mine has Vogtland, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated because i want to do this car right, especially for when i move out to Cali later on this year-Treasurer
