    iX Winter Rally Pics

So I found this abandoned golf course really close to my house and decided to check it out. Turns out there is a dirt access road that loops about a mile all the way through the course.

It snowed about 5 inches so I couldn't resist making some fresh tracks through the snow in my iX... after all that’s what owning an iX is all about right?

If only I had a better camera and a passenger to take motion shots...

Excuse the phone pics. Anyway here is the aftermath.
If we get another good snow I plan to take her out again with a decent camera and maybe some video.

Why weaves aren't great snow wheels.

By the way if anyone wants to make a sweet ass p-shop sig for me out of any of these feel free.

Exactly what those were designed for. A+ I have weaves for my snow tires...but thats just because I wouldn't be caught dead with bottle caps. :P

Well I don't know what the course was called but its been out of service for at least a couple years. Some company bought it planning to build a development on the land. If you are familiar with the area it is bordered by 97 south right after the Bend Parkway and 3rd street merge together, Knott road, and China Hat Road.

Anyway I will be sure to get some better media... Hopefully we will get some more snow this winter cause this was definetly more fun than doing cookies in an empty parking lot. I would like to see how she would do in 10 inches of snow.:-P

I'm jealous. Thats all I did in the winter when I had my ix, but I opted for parks before they were plowed instead of golf courses...
Only down side were the vibrations that I used to get with all the snow in the weaves, anyone else get that shit?

Yeah snow packed into the weaves tend to throw them out of balance.

Yeah if all this snow melts off the ground is going to be pretty soggy and that could be alot of fun too...
