        I love this swap!. Is there much difference in the weight of the engine/tranny compared to stock 325?.

            The m20 weighs 258lbs. The ls1 weighs in about 380-400 depending on his clutch assembly and exhaust manifolds. the t56 weighs 115-130 depending on year. The getrag 260 weighs ummm...someone can jump in on that one..

            total ls1/t56 (rounding up) prob arround -550-575lbs

            Let say the t56 and getrag are comparible in weight

            total m20/260 -390-410lbs

            twice the hp/tq for 165lbs.

            I doubt weight is much of an issue here. Especailly if he takes the time to figure out where the weight can be saved.
