Welp.. Its been a couple months, I parted together a 4.10 LSD and it came out to be pretty cheap ($150 + I have an extra LSD diff I can sell). Ordered a z3 2.8L SSK so Im planning to put the diff in when that gets here.

You can see in that pic that I have my Work's off the car and disasembled, rebuilding them and will most likely have them back on come spring time. I thinking about going to coilovers w/konis so I can stiffen the spring rates up a bit (actually a lot).

Is this the standard diff mount?

possibility of seeing the rig shots before photoshop?
Any way you could write a tutorial of how you made your rig?

              gonna do some filling in....

Ah.. well I found out the hard way what direction the thermostat is supposed to be installed while doing my water pump/thermostat. The previous installer put the last one in the wrong way, removal was pretty hard (was forced in backwards) and the o-ring was half way in, I honestly don't know how it held water before. The unknowing me put it in the same way thinking the thermostat would pop in when bolting the thermostat housing in. Heard the pop, put most of the stuff back in and started throwing some water in. Few moments later water was flowing out of the housing, pulled it apart and found this...

Got a new housing and t-stat (damaged my new one) coming in tomorrow from pelican (their warehouse is in SF so my stuff comes next day). So others know its t-stat-> o-ring-> housing gasket-> housing.

I helicoiled a few of the stripped valve cover bolts and put new gaskets, also tried getting some of the dumb coating stuff off but gave up. Im gonna do an oil change, Redline the trans, possibly install the diff (got all of my gaskets to build it), and button up everything tomorrow.

Pops came out to visit for a few days and spent the entire time going around the bay area showing him the "sights".. Took a lot of pictures of couse, but had to get some with the chariot in them. 8)

Some new additions... euro plate filler and smoked front turn signals

Picked up a COP Kit from rob_e30. Kit is well put together and comes with everything needed to install. As I said in his thread, I could have made the plate myself and put everything together for a little cheaper, but its nice to open up a box and have everything there and ready to go. Car runs much smoother now and throttle responce has improved dramitically, probly means my original plug wired where a little old :p. After more driving it seems to have fixed my funky idle isses as well.

I plan on making a cover of some sort and insulating the wires betterm

                    made a small modification..

Its starting to get hot and the vinyl sport seat is comfy but its just too hot.. Time for some cloth, we had a Recaro SE seat (I dont know what from) sittin at the shop so it was a no brainer. Gave my buddy $50 for the seat and spent $5.89 for some steel and went to work.

Brackets to adapt to the stock sliders.

                      On the seat

                      Seat installed.

Configured to sit a little lower so I can wear a helmet comfortably in the car, and a very good position for me. Im now looking for passenger options and possibly selling my uber clean sport seats.
