Im in the same process with the Alpha N and CF airbox. I cant wait. Bfest will rock this year. Just so yo know, the Sparco bar will not fit. Its the only bar that doesnt fit. I have/had one too.

Seems the sparco bar is hit and miss for fitting. Which (who's) CF box do you have? I found that John's (JEDM3) FG air box clears the sparco bar... no word yet on the CF one.

yeah I almost bought the fiberglass box - but i've been lusting after the CF box for 5 years... I couldn't live with my self for buying a FG box when I had the chance for the full CF one. I plan to buy a wiekers (sp?) bar to clear the CF airbox. I'm told it's one of the only bars that will clear the full sized box.

@ mariano - local e30 m3 guy has a techedge setup that I am going to pay him a small fee to use (as it burns up a bit of the guage) but yes I will be using a WBo2

@ Tj - thanks and ouch.

                      updates comming soon.

                        Update:

So yesterday was not a huge day from a pics standpoint, but it was time consuming.

First - pic of the old TPS, main engine connector for the harness, and baro sensor.

Then this is what is left to instal in the car; the MAXX.

I don't know wtf exploded in my glove box at some point, but I'm going to order a new one from the dealer as I don't think there is any good way to clean the shit that is in my glovebox.

Harness cover off and wires exposed:

This is the messy part. I zip tied the main maxx harness to the main engine harness at the DME. I then spliced into the different wires for the DME.

After about three hours and some serious patience - the harness is in with the exception of the G-Pot wire and the ground. It looks much less messy at this point.

Tomorrow when the weather is better I plan on going back and fixing one wire setup that needs to be re-done, then I will make all of the final wiring checks and get the MAXX computer mounted in the glovebox and make room to have the USB cable perminantly easily accessible from the glovebox. More to come later!

Hey Blunt. I should ship the "Original BMW Teile" banner on Wednesday with the stainless flange. Sorry for the delay. And the btw the rear 2002 kit is finally completed and I will be gettting the zinc plated parts by Tuesday. It was the most involved kit ever but it is well worth the wait. There will be no other rear kit like that for 2002s...
