Speaking of the pinstripe, after my accident one side of the car was mostly repainted and blended. The stupid shop guy charged me after the fact for adding pinstripe that I didn't want, without telling me, so he redid the entire side.


I like the wheels though, big upgrade from bottlecaps, and I haven't really met anyone that didn't like the feel of the seats, which is the only real important part to me.

I got a nice letter from BMW 12 years ago after questioning them on what I learned at a visit to the National Holocaust Museum. The letter seemed sincere in expressing regret at their part in the treatment of Jews during WWII. They're a different company now. So I have no qualms about owning/driving their cars.
