Got these fixed in last weekend.

was contemplating of doing these up almost a year ago, but onli managed to spool up the funds and resources to do so recently. (also because i managed to track down the Sparco strut bar for the car,so... why not....)
Been reading up alot of the effects of such parts and figured, if i'm gonna put in the strut bar / anti-roll bars, i'm gonna put them in together. Since most users usually report little or negligible differences from just a strut bar addition. Figured i might as well get the ARBs and fit them in together and see how the car feels.
Previously the car had onli ARBs on the front, nothing at the rear, 316i's all came like that... It was already pretty fun thru the corners running on my eibach/bilstein combo...
Ordered and bought brand new M-Tech ARBs and all the linkages and bushings (air freight from Germany), Sparco full stainless steel tube strut bar bought off Ebay and shipping to SG
. The M-Tech ARBs are supposedly thicker den the normal E30s'...
Fitting in the ARBs were probably quite straight forward, but the strut bar almost didn;t make it into the car. Cos i guess after 17years on the road and with me throwing the car into corners, the chassis flexed till the screws for the strut bar didn;t even line up. (checked with another E30 316i next to my car was a perfect fit...)
But with some elbow grease, pushing and prying, it managed to go in. The strut bar is one solid mofo... no hinges or nuts/bolts... just a solid tube linking one end to another.
Car is alot more stable thru corners and turns much easier and well... it just turns without any drama....
But with the fitment of the strut bar, the car is produced vibrations that were sent throughout the cabin. The vibrations are to the point where it actually generates a loud noise when driving. wasn't sure if it's normal... So i drove around more during the weekend to evaluate the situation... a rather 'boomy' sound....
-----------------------------------
So today, went down to the workshop during my lunchtime...
and managed to eradicate the vibrating noise, the sparco strut bar was actually touching the engine and making the vibrating noises.
slotted in a washer to give the bar a slight raise and no more 'booming' vibrating noise :)
-----------------------------------
Guess what car the E30 shared the space with?
