Thinking of removing my IS rear deck spoiler

Alright...I keep looking at the profile shots of my car and think it might look cleaner "sans spoiler".

It is a real IS. Do I want to mess with that?
There is a lot of gunk that builds up around the spoiler and is a PITA to clean.
There is one small crack in the paint...it only bugs me when I am washing the car.
I kinda like the trunk deck without the spoiler.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Jason

Leave it. I like them, but I like m-tech 1 better... I have one of each..

Looks damn good to me, I wouldn't do anything. Cars w/o trunk spoilers can look very good too though! I might suggest buying another spoilerless Alpine White trunklid and swapping it out. See how you like it.

I would agree with both of the last 2 posts.

Either paint it black or make it go away.

That is only my opinion though, YMMV.

          Great looking car, BTW.

Wingless or mtech 1, can't go wrong with either choice.

What wheel sizes are you running? Car looks fantastic man. Id say go with the 5 series Mtech like Ed's old car.

Sell me your trunk lid. I've been thinking of adding a white IS lip and getting rid of my 3rd brake light. Done.

I like the idea of painting it black as well.

Mtech 1, and IMHO i would paint the lip spoiler black, or the rockers white, looks un balanced.

Other than that, ollks great i love the wheels.
