smoked u.s. ellips w/city light shoot (could i be the first?)

unfortunately didnt have the time to a good site after i cleaned her up so i made the most of a driveway shoot. new mod is smoked US spec ellipsoids w/city light. (made by me, of course) not sure if i like them as much as i thought i would, but we'll see. i imagine im the first to do this to u.s. spec lights. enjoy

First off, your car is very clean. Props for that. I just can't stomach this kit though. I can't even force feed it. It's just awful and tasteless. Euro bumpers or even 88 bumpers would do wonders for this thing. Either go with the Mtech II parts, or ditch it all together.

Really, it's quite bad IMHO.

lol it kinda looks off on the driver side maybe it is the picuture. the Pics are so dark, either that or it is probably that my monitor is so shitty (got a new one in the mail) i cant see it. but i do like the reiger GTS kit on your car...from what i can see. only problem is it doesnt flow w/ the car.

I like the lights. I think the e30 city lights are sweet. I've thought about doing this mod but can't find a good city light kit and I haven't wanted to F*^k up my current elips. I would just switch to euro lights but I recently did an HID upgrade, don't want to just trash that.

How about a DIY writeup? or pics of the install.

made them myself. i used jordon's templates for euro lights as a guide, but they dont fit directly in U.S. spec ones.

Maybe the only reason why I like your car with the GTS kit is because your car is black and it hides some of the hideous tones the kit has.

you need bigger/more aggressive wheels to pull off that kit. Cool lights tho
