What's the deal with the center openings/vents? Some pics shows only 2 of 4, was that a factory option: 2 openings for 4 cylinders, 4 for 6 bangers?

My E30 325i has back and lateral spoilers M tech I (fiberglass copies anyways) except the front spoiler. Last week I was able to get a front spoiler copy and I am wondering should I leave it like this: (with 2 center openings)

...or should I cut the other center vents? It makes sense for the oil cooler, besides aesthetics.

There's also the issue of the tow hook, most pics shows only the right one uncovered, but my Euro E30 has 2 tow hooks, is it possible to leave one covered?

BTW I am just waiting the OEM fog lights to paint it and install everything.

Edit: picture is outrageously large, so I included the link instead of the whole pic.

My OEM mtech bumper is the same thing. Only the top 2 vents are opened. Not sure why.

^ Interesting since yours is OEM, it's a good reference and the car is 6 cylinders, I presume top 2 vents are aligned with the oil cooler.

              no openings= 4 cyl.
              2 openings= 6cyl.-325i with oil cooler
              4 openings= 6cyl. with A/C.

Thanks. 24v 6 here but no A/C so makes sense, lol.

                    My parts car was a M-tech 1:

                    And with my Zinno 316:

                    Can't wait for my 316 to be a M-tech 1!

                    It ended up like this:

                        Very nice!

Currently I have mine with Alpinas 16, should look similar except that mine is 4 doors.

I took this pic on november last year:

Pretty sure once I have the front spoiler installed I'll find cool locations for pictures.

                          Thanks!

It looked good from a distance but it was waaaaaay to rusty to repair.
So it gave up its live to make my zinno 316 look better.
If I just had the time to paint the m-tech kit and install it :(

What's the going rate for a full mtech coupe kit anyways?

My complete m-tech car (the parts car from above) was €800, sold for a total of €500 in parts and I still have the 17" Alpina replica's and the m-tech kit! :)
