Ok, so we have a little bit of bodywork, a little mechanical work.

New fender, control arm, front sway bar bushing and link, tie rod maybe, wheel/tire.

Is it much more extensive than that?

Wow that control arm is fucked. It's a miracle if you didn't bend any frame.

Thanks for the offer man, but I'll pass. I found a local '89 325i being parted out due to a rollover. And for the others, I did slow down before turning.

slowing down before a turn is natural.

But was your foot still on the brake as you started turning? if so, that might be what helped cause the accident.

Slightly. I did turn in a little earlier than i normaly would which is why i hit the potholes.

Yeah, you might have been trailbraking, which is not good. but whats done is done. hopefully you can fix it up and get it back on the road. i did the same thing in my Sentra SE-R.

If he stayed on the brakes from before the turn to just into the turn, chances are the balance of the car did not change because of the braking... it probably happened when he let off the brakes, sending some of that weight back toward the rear end. The potholes and gravel are to blame... I'd say keeping on the brakes a little bit into the corner had very little to do with it.

First of all i think the "he" is actually a "she." ;-)

you never know. i can definetaly feel a different in the car when i enter a turn at the same speed with slight brakes and with no brakes. and with brakes it feels like the car takes longer to turn. but that is not here nor there, the damage is done and it will be fixed.

Nope, ima "he" ;) Got a couple of guys from BMW coming to look at it sometime this week. Also, the firewall is punched in, i can see and feel the carpet from inside the fender. Also, my tires played a role too as they were very shitty tires put on just so it'd pass inspection.
