Damn you guys with your "even" arches! How bad is the rubbing in the back?

I could run 235's in the back and not rub.

I run 215's now, and no way in hell i can rub.

absolutely love the car with the wheels but, seroiusly were they giving spec 2's away at the tire store. Ive run them and sold at least 30 sets and havent had a greatful customer out of any of them. I would have go for the es 100's for a bargain more The Paradas may have a whopping 300 treadwear but the uneven tread depths across the face and on the shoulder usually cause troubles. I sold jordan his es100's and although they arent the s03s they grab and go for a fraction of the spec2 price

I kinda just chose them at random. Ive heard good things about them, but ive also heard bad things too. To tell you the truth they dont seem like a bad tire to me, although I have nothing to compare them too since this is my first car and first set of tires.

                      sweet ride.

For some reason, the front s bugging me. Maybe it's the rear arches, but there is something about the front that doesn't look right to me. Awesome job though.

Im going to try and hot glue it on, because the tabs broke off it. But if that doesnt work then I'll be more then happy to take it off oyut hands.

                          Thanks for the offer too.

All 84-87 e30's have slightly higher rear fender arches. My wheels are also 17x7 ET38 with 10mm H&R hubcentric spacers. So that makes a overall offset of ET28. Yes, I have the cupkit on my car.

I don't understand aaron. All cabrios have the same lower arches as the 88+ e30's.

My issue with the 88+ arches is how low they are. It makes it so you tuck tire/wheel when you slam your car. Looks ghetto. My car is slammed (and will be lower yet) and I'm not tucking tire yet. Ideally I will be about 1/2in lower all around, and my tires will be even with the fender lips.

I hate you Jordan, I hate you and your higher early arches. :P

Late arches look ghetto when slammed. Case in point, 5in GC springs:

Right now, with the settings I have as seen in the sig, the top of the tires are pretty much even with the fender. 6in spring in rear, all the way up.

Are early arches the same as the front? Is so, you could just Pshop the front arches of a later model on the rear to improve the looks. 8)

Nice car, although I reckon the rear end is a touch low as some people have said.

I've always liked the 17" Kopis, but it bugs me how they only have 19 spokes.
