How do you make a car stand out at Bimmerfest?
How do you make it more than just a pretty face?
How do you make it memorable, and allow any BMW enthusiast enjoy it?
We present the blue taped car!
Overall bimmerfest was great. We wish some stuff went different, but that's ok, still a great time.
Our short story.
We had some car trouble that ended up being something we overlooked when the car started cutting out, then wouldn't start. So we got towed to the Ramada (ihop parking lot actually), then had to stay extra nights at the hotel since it was Sunday. Got it towed to BMW of SB (great people) they fixed it, of course we could have fixed it if we knew we just had to plug in a wire, but that's life, and we overlooked it anyways. They = Roxor.
An incredibly nice homeless man named Mike signed our car on the beach, and after he wrote some heartfelt things on our car, we had to give him money for a meal at the LEAST. He told us to never forget that you need to take care of yourself, but when someone else takes care of you, like the way we did for him, you will have a friend forever that will help you in a time of need.
Fast forward, we got a ticket we did actually deserve near the border, then in AZ we got citations for normally bogus stuff after a cop looked over our car and told us tint was the reason why he initially pulled us over. (No we weren't speeding, we didn't want another one after the one in Cali.)
So again, all in all bfest was great, why bore you with pictures of stuff you've seen? Here are pictures of stuff people wrote on the car, and other misc stuff. We'll be there next year, not sure if the blue taped e36 325i will be there, but if it is, sign it!
