Really looks good, its a cheap alternative to buying the real ones just that it blocks lighting that way

It didn't seem to make that big of an effect when I put them on my H4..

H4 is a dual filament on high beam, Bigger bulb so I believe I read a long time ago that H4's were superior in their lumen output due to size alone.

Looks really good but now you can't see at night;)
I installed the smoked film on my old e30 because I rarely had to drive it at night but one time I had to and I ended up driving home like ace ventura sticking my head out the window to see, that's how bad it hinders
                light output.

Agreed, looks awesome but does suck for output. My 89 came with smoked Lamin-X on the ellips and fogs and I ripped it off right away.

It effects any light source, just it is less noticeable with brighter headlights.

That looks good. Does the Lamin-X come pre cut for this or just in a roll like tint.
