Test Fit 17 on the front of the E30

So...I decide that it was time to pull one of the 17's off of the back of the E30 and put it up front to see how it fits.

    So...Azev Type A 17x8.5 Et 15 with 205/45/17 Toyo T1R.

It almost fits ok. The Center hub portion of the wheel rubs on the brake caliper. I think this can be fixed with a small spacer. Or I could get the wheel machined, I suppose.

    IT looks bada$$!!!

With 20mm spacer. Yes...it is way too much. But it was all I had on hand.

    Whatcha think?

there is enough material on the caliper that you could probably grind it enough for clearance.

Time to order 2 more wheels!

The Previous Owner (Bimmerdawg) put them on. They were originally intended for a Monster Miata. He had the centers bored out to fit the E30 and onthey went.

17/17 looks fucking dope. I think a 5mm spacer in the front and it would look killer.

I dont like it at all. It seems like the front wheels stick way out, and the rears are tucking, I can only imagine how much more that would look (poking) in the front with a spacer to boot.
keep the 16/ 17s on it.

It is poking in the pictures because of the 20mm spacer. I was not going to run that setup.
