I would know, the checkbook mechanic that owned my E before me had a DINAN chip installed. One time I put the reccomended 91-octane fuel in and I couldn't stop doing smoky 1 rear wheel burnouts. I had to drain the tank and put 87 back in.

True story, google it. I'll wait.

I have a feeling that the "Dinan is awesome" is being very cynical...

Find a ride or better yet drive an S3 M5 with SC and full suspension... make sure it has the Fikse wheels and BBK front and rear and then tell me that dinan just sells junk to rich people... I think maybe it should say "Don't be so butt hurt that you are not Steve Dinan"

I am not rich and I am not stupid and I have a good bit of Dinan products. Some of them work and it is worth their price to me for what I get. "Price and Value" are not set in stone. They depend on person to person. One might say that buying a head unit and paying retail at Best Buy is "dumb" but next guy might say it was "smart" because he got it immediately. "value" is perceived.

I think dinan does some pretty solid stuff. I was just giving shit.

There's a DINAN 8 up in toledo, silver, big ass staggered wheels, super clean, with the vanity plate "525 HP." Bonertime for sure whenever it drives past.

Yeah, Dinan made a limited amount of twin turbo 850i's, one will pop up on ebay every once in a while. Problem is(at least to my knowledge) alll of them were automatics. That may not be an issue for some, but to me, if you have an automatic bimmer, you might as well just have a Mercedes.
