Congrats. $500 is CHEAP. The new wheels look great, but I'd have to paint 'em silver.

BTW, your Golf looks sweet with the staggered Type A's. I had those wheels on my '84 944 back in 1992, but with the regular caps.

They were the ones on ebay, the guy was also on my vw forum, so he gave me a good deal.

Keeping it all german is true, we also have a 2001 BMW 330i and a 1971 Porsche 911e
