Experience shows that women in the automotive community are most likely the ones who are too butt ugly to even make it to senior prom. So instead, they get a car, say they like it, and watch all the guys who want a girl "interested" in cars at her feet.

Seen it happen over a handful of times personally.

Lilu (and any girl here), if you dont fall under that stereotype, feel free to prove me wrong anytime.

No thank you, I have nothing to prove. I am here for the same reason most people are here: because I enjoy cars. I don't post here because I seek attention, I don't post here to stir up shit (like some people). I just like E30s. Get over yourself.

LOL. Dude, you're a fucking moron.

I'm honestly glad I didn't donate to your "drift crusade" after you post some stupid shit like that.

"Experience shows"? Like you went to every fucking automotive forum on the internet and did surveys?

Dumbass. Tip for the future: Don't try to sound like the shit when you're spouting stuff that makes you sound like a bitter loser.

You sound like "That Guy" on the forum that never gets laid and wants people to think he's "the man".

Experience shows that there's one of "those guys" on every forum, dickhead ;)...

It's not that at all. Maybe it come off the wrong way, but the idea is the same. By experience, I mean in person. Internet doesnt count. Maybe drifting is different... but I've seen over a handful of girls swear that they wanted to get into drifting, etc etc etc... promises and whatnot, and obviously many poor souls fell for it and tried to do everything to support. Guess what? They never stick around.

I helped a friend of mine wrench on his car, preparing it for a drift event overnight so his girl could use his car to drift it at an event. We were up until 4am while she slept (because she never turned a wrench in her life).... day of, she woke up late and didnt feel like going anymore. Not to mention the other time she DID go, she fell asleep half way through the event because she didnt want to "slide" anymore. Funny enough, this friend of mine is registered on this forum and could probably vouch on the many other instances examples like this happened.

And she's not the only example.

Point being, I am all for these girls interested in cars. But from what I've seen (in person... which I attribute to online), most the time they dont stick around. But prove me wrong, I'd love to see that happen. I just really haven't yet.

The fact that kellie said she had nothing to prove was already a start for me, because usually the ones I've seen would just try to pout at me with some sort of "i'll prove you wrong"... and obviously never doing so.

If I knew a lot about cars I wouldn't be here asking for suggestions or comments on the car, you guys asked for the photos and I posted a couple, no need to start a competition ...

^That is awesome and pretty much dead on. Watch that and learn the truth.

No offense RW but I'd fall asleep at a drift event too. Sliding's for dirt tracks, straight thru is for asphalt.

EDIT: It appears I'm wrong, Rumor has it drifiting will be a major part of Formula One next year.

Good luck with the venture! Maybe try to figure out what your budget would be & what your intentions are with the car (i.e. daily driver, auto-x or show car perhaps). Anyhow good luck!
