Damn Andre.....I thought they were going to be some sick BBS mesh wheels......The Schimdts are cool, I love the dish! I hate to go along with the consensus, but I loved the way the Brocks looked on your car. I'm just like you though, I get tired of wheels very easily. Nice pics ;)

Dude your old rims were better looking but i guess its just the lesser of two evils. In some of those pics it looks like your car is a toy LOL. I fucken hate your style but the pics you have of your car are great man...now if only you got some taste I could have good wall paper.

TASTE that is taste, but you like many on this board do not understand that. that is why i just envy the hardcore german tuning, because it is full of style. half of the cars in germany that are styled are a great work of art. those ppl dont care about going 2000 miles an hour or trackign their car, tehy care about their car being low and good looking, and that is what im doing. i do not care about speed, and that is why I WILL NOT DO MOTOR WORK, i will do much more system and interior work

Your not even going to upgrade to an 'i' motor? It would be the simplesit swap. At least you could rev up to 6k. It wouldnt cost half of what your wheels do. But different strokes for different folks. on the other hand i really do like the euro style. I just dont really dig stretched sidewalls.( a little too form over function, for me at least)

Ok, I've always steered away from threads about your "style" when it comes to wheels, but I want to offer an opinion.

First of all, let me say the CAR looks great. I like the new side skirts, the paint is incredible, clean job with the shaved molding. The front and rear also look great and the interior is clean as hell. Good choices on body work, lights, trim, etc...

The tires you choose to put on your wheels is beyond stupid. Not only do you stretch narrow as hell tires onto wide wheels, but you run little ass rubberband undersized tires. Stretched tires DO NOT promote better handling, so to claim that stretched sidewalls produce a more firm, better handling setup is incorrect. You take a sharp turn going fast enough and the lip of your wheels will literally HIT the ground. I know you're not interested in going fast or good handling, so for you it doesn't matter. I understand you do it for the LOOKS you're going for a show car and because you've done exactly what you were going for, that's great.
My whole point is, your car looks great, but it could look so much better. In my opinion, your tire choices ruin your car. Get some larger diameter tires that cover the rim and your wheel wells won't look empty. Your car is so low, yet you have monstrous gap all around your tires.
Congrats on e30.de and to each his own. Don't take this as a bash please because I like the car. If you are in love with the stretched look, atleast try for a bigger circumference tire so it fills the wells and stiffer spring rates so you won't rub the fenders.

Congrats on the ride. Looks sharp overall. 8)

Chris -->who runs oversized 235/40R17 tires on 8.5x17inch rims on a non-m, stock fendered, low e30 with NO RUBBING. 265/35R17 rear tires will wrap 9.5x17 rear wheels within 6 months or so, and yes, front and rear dish IS HUGE.

im not arguing anything but yet you fail to realize why i and ppl in germany strech rubber, for the simple reason that i have a 10: wide wheel in teh back and having a 275/35/16 would mean i would rub the shocks and fender at the same time. That is all i have to say about streched rubber. Please dont reply saying that i should put a wide body, i hate wide bodys and tehy are just horrible on any car

Oh god no i would never say wide body. Only fender mod I would ever do is have the fenders "pulled" like the germans. I will have 9.5inch wheels in the back with 265/35's on 17s and no rubbing. My miracle drugs are stiff springs and thick swaybars.

So you know, I DO know why you stretch rubber. I'm just trying to convince you that you don't have to. You'll have half an inch on me while I have bigger wheels, and bigger and much fatter tires.

                      Widebody...M3? WRX? Skyline? :?

Car look mean. I like it. The profile shot of the car makes the wheels look not so good (cant tell the depth). At the angles I give it a  Congrats on your accomplishments.

Sorry not gonna happen since i LOVE THE LOOK of stretched rubber, and in my case it actually serves a purpose. But since you are so convincing maybe you should tell this guy to get some 285's instead of 245's for his 11" wide wheel

Seen the pic. 11 is crazy. All I know is the widest I can go is 9.5 or 10 with a deeper offset. I wonder how much space he has between the rim and the shock. with my current 8.5's and 235/40R17 in the rear, I have ample space on the shock side and fender side for my plans. I know you like the look. Just hoping in the future you might be curious to try something else. I would just like to see your car with a little more meat. None the less, nice work.

Sorry Andre, but your lasts 2 sets of wheels looked worlds better than those. They look like the belong on a 4 x 4 pickup, not a car.

But the car on a whole does look great, and if you love them, that's what's important. Great job!

Love the wheels. A little more tire stretchage for my taste but that's a beaten horse so that's all I'll say about it. I'm probably going to go with one peice versions except in like 15x8 on my VW. Looks hot. Gotta love Schmits
