    my m-tech 1!!!

    Hey!

I've just found this site through another e30 board, and i've been looking at some of the mtech 1's on here, and some are rather nice!
I've had mine for over a year now, had the timing belt done and the awful badging removed. I'm thinking of ditching the m3 replica spoiler, any other suggestions? I think Alpina wheels would be sweet, it would have the 333i look then.
It's an eta, so performance is damn boring. A future dream is some ///M power hidden inside.
Your oppinions for and against are welcome :)

Love burgundrot but for some reason that car doesnt do it for me. Id say, ditch the wheels and wing, find some nice baskets [bbs rs 16's] with gold centers and a polished lip and slam the damn thing. oh and acs badge delete

what is this shadow line i keep hearing about?

and slam, aka drop? If it is, there is hardly enough room in the front wheel arch as it is... how do people get them so low?

Shadow lining is where you paint the chrome strips that wrap your windows and such. And you would have to get rid of the balloon tires and run like a 40 series tire. That will bring down your car and allow you to use an after market suspension to bring it down some more. The car is super clean and with a bit of changes it can look amazing!

          Good luck!

Roll your fenders is the easiest way to get more clearence. Im sure you will be able to clean up that mtech1 quite nicely, rebadge your car please.

Burgundrot FTW!!! I love your car. Alpina wheels would look nice. And i do like that wing on some non M e30's, but it doesn't do anything for me on this car. Maybe a e30 or e28 m-tech1 spoiler would look good on there.

I have seen more AUS cars with those wheels than I can count. They must have been popular over there. They're TSW's, right?

                    My two cents;

                    1. Drop the badges
                    2. Lose the wing
                    3. Shadowline
                    4. Change the wheels
                    5. Change the exhaust tip

                    Here's a shadow line pic

But hey, it's your car at the end of the day.... whatever works for you... different strokes for different folks right?

Don't shadowline that, put some alpinas or weaves on it, slam it, de-badge it, Mtech I wing, I think some french fogs would look great on that color. Change that exhaust tip out too. Fucking clean though. Love it.
                          tasty

+1 on not doing the shadow line. I did mine before i got the chrome euro bumpers for it. Now i think it may look better if it wasn't shadow lined. But oh well, i still like it.
