    cheers

dont get me wrong, a few times its been tough lol, but thats why i joined r3v, for help and honest opinions. I am happy as hell when someone posts something positive or gives a little credit for what i have done, but along with that comes the sometimes constructive criticism. I will keep posting pics as i am sure a few are interested in the progress, but in the end, its my car and whether or not its to the tastes of my fellow e30 owners makes no difference. Its my first e30 and i am doing it my way. I am damn proud of this car and no one can take that away from me. I had never turned a wrench before i started this project, I have learned so much doing this and still have a lot to learn, i love it. cheers guys for all the help! and thanks for the constructive criticism, at least its useful info and suggestions I can think about. And, to all the haters, the guys who just want to trash someone else's hard work, just for the hell of it, keep posting , because for every one of you, there is someone here who says something i give a shit about.

Well put. I have more respect for new2bmw than I do for 90% of the members on this board.

You mean that outfit isn't a good choice? Everybody else seems to like it.

im not going to saw much about the rear bumper other than it is structurally the weakest point on your car and will eventually brake and fall off. Not bashing but it is thin fiberglass and any body with a glass kit, top dollar or ebay special will confirm. And i am speaking as a claims adjsuter who sees kited $1000 honda civics and $200k porsche gt3's. That said a thrifty alternative would be the the toyota bumper for $150 and i think it would follow well with your car. As you build your car things will grow on you and things will annoy you. At the end of the day its your money and what ever puts a smile on your face is money well spent.

I will obviously go my own way but i am very interested to see what you think.
                cheers guys
                take care
burn it and get the insurance money?

i would put on regular chrome trim and if you don't like it, shadowline it later.

                  shadowline

well, i looked at my trim and it is pretty scuffed, i dont think i know of any way to get it shiny again or get rid of the scratches, if anyone knows please tell me. if not i will shadowline, i think i have the procedure down, scuff , etch prime then paint, sound right?
                  thanks guys!
