I see on ebay that these body kits cost like $500 or more. I hope you didn't pay that much because that would be rediculous and I would pity you.

edit: also, it look like that rear apron is going to contribute a significant amount of air drag. The sides fan out crazy wild style.

Are you on crack? The paint looks lousy, very dull.

As others have said.. the front bumper is generally undesirable, but the rear is just the most flamming gay thing you could have put on the car.

WOW, i keep coming back to this thread, Please switch out the bumpers to stocks diving boards or plastics, or hell mtech II, BMP, ANYTHING!

You will be more pleased with the outcome overall, and so will everyone who sees it.

    Okay so I'm back.

It is your car, but be open to criticism, which you expected. Have tough skin and stick to your guns (which you are doing so props).

Going the stock route is preffered from members of the board it seems, but don't let that make you go that route. Don't let people you've never met from the internets (serious business ®) get to ya.

And thats all I have to say about that. Good luck with your project.

First thing I'll say: I LOATHE that kit. The front end isn't TOO bad, but the rear is hideous. Absolutely hideous.

Second thing: Whether we like it or not, you do, and that's all that matters.

    ok I get it

Alright guys, I get it, I dont have a car that looks the same as all of yours. I love the way an e30 looks original or with the sort of mods you guys throw on them, dont get me wrong, there are a lot of amazing cars here. I have never owned a bmw before and this is the first car I have ever restored. I expected you guys to flame the shit out of it. I couldnt afford the kits you guys are able to put on your cars. I did what I set out to accomplish, i rescued a rotting heap of e30 and built it up again. Like i said, i have a 325 that has the plastic bumpers and it will be restored to its original glory. The 318 was a fun project, it has an amazing suspension and will have an incredible engine. You guys knock the shit out of it because you can tell if another e30 is missing a clip from the window trim and thats what i love about this site, you guys know your shit. But, on the other hand I already know that the average Joe driving down the road is amazed by the car and loves what i have done. I am proud of the car and the energy and time that went into it. It was the best job I could do and if the bodykit doesnt impress any of you so be it. Thanks for the comments both good and mostly bad. Maybe when i do the 325 i will consider your input and do it right.

I will post picks when it is all together so you can scoff at it some more but at least you will see the project in its entirety. Thanks for all the advice on this project and I hope you respect me enough to continue to help me out with future questions i may have.
    cheers
    Larry
