I never understood why the ratio of riced out E30s to nice E30s is so much higher in Canada.

This project definitely had potential...but that kit...

It's not too late. Sell those things on ebay and get some stock valences with european bumpers!

sounds like a great project, so long as you get rid of that automatic. And the body kit, but it is your car. Otherwise, the paint looks really god. Have fun!

i realy appreciate the input. I have put so much into this car, so the kit must stay for now. I was aiming for clean and good looking. i know its not your guys style but for now i am happy.

                            ok I get it

Alright guys, I get it, I dont have a car that looks the same as all of yours. I love the way an e30 looks original or with the sort of mods you guys throw on them, dont get me wrong, there are a lot of amazing cars here. I have never owned a bmw before and this is the first car I have ever restored. I expected you guys to flame the shit out of it. I couldnt afford the kits you guys are able to put on your cars. I did what I set out to accomplish, i rescued a rotting heap of e30 and built it up again. Like i said, i have a 325 that has the plastic bumpers and it will be restored to its original glory. The 318 was a fun project, it has an amazing suspension and will have an incredible engine. You guys knock the shit out of it because you can tell if another e30 is missing a clip from the window trim and thats what i love about this site, you guys know your shit. But, on the other hand I already know that the average Joe driving down the road is amazed by the car and loves what i have done. I am proud of the car and the energy and time that went into it. It was the best job I could do and if the bodykit doesnt impress any of you so be it. Thanks for the comments both good and mostly bad. Maybe when i do the 325 i will consider your input and do it right.

I will post picks when it is all together so you can scoff at it some more but at least you will see the project in its entirety. Thanks for all the advice on this project and I hope you respect me enough to continue to help me out with future questions i may have.
                            cheers
                            Larry

First thing I'll say: I LOATHE that kit. The front end isn't TOO bad, but the rear is hideous. Absolutely hideous.

Second thing: Whether we like it or not, you do, and that's all that matters.
