yeah I am a baller on a budget haha. I have access to a spray gun and with the right prep and a high quality paint with a decent amount of clear and a wet sand I cant see how they wont look good :)

I may be the only one, but I wouldn't change a thing. There's just enough chrome on the car to brighten it up. It's done - go work on the next one.

thanks, I was torn for a moment there but I think that Im gonna for sure paint them black  there are a lot of people buying these rims and I would rather be different plus all black rims take the cake for me :).

                          An update...

Painted the rims :) extra super glossssssss. Big thanks to my buddy Nate and Trent at www.endurapaint.com for all the help and the great price on paint, you guys ROCK!!! We cought a nasty case of orange peel the first run so we let it sit for a few days and brought it back down with some 400 grit and turned out 2nd try was a charm. Sorry for the crappy phone pics.

sanded down after the first coat due to orange peel, sucks not having a booth

crappy pic but just a shot of the rims all together...

The paint is just amazing, really deep dark gloss black.

An up close shot of the gloss and to give you an idea of the finish we got. Looks almost power coated, not bad for to guys who have never painted rims :) DIY for life.

They look awesome :) The paint I used was a really heavy duty enamel which took 7 days to cure!!! Glad I waited to pick up tires for them as I just sunk $400 into maintenance and some other little needed goodies. I am now broke but will have these mounted and have some photos in a month or so. Got to get paid...

                          Ash-

oh and I will be using this tape...

on the outer lip to match the theme and the paint color. I cant wait to pull the 15's off and get the shadowline done with the all black 3inch dish :)

All said and done it will look like this but with 16's :) so just a little less fender gap...

Cool, are you going to put the bolts back in or leave them out?
