    in the process of selling the AE86 to pay for the e30



    oh man! i just realized i never got any good pics of the AE86 while it was all put together... i've taken most everything off now... oh well. :(

    and the E30 i bought last monday...

    I got a beater S15 not to long ago to replace my e30 as a daily driver. And i finally took pictures of it. I hope it don't break anyones computer screen due to it's pure beauty :p :rofl:

    MK2's are my favorite, for these reasons.
    I think Mk2s feel sort of heavy compared to Mk1 cars. That and the 16v is a lot more maintenance intensive than the 1.8 8v from the GTI cars (I'm comparing the two just because the Mk2 8v GTI never really cut it in my book). My 8v is lightly modded with a cam, intake, etc. and I spin my ties through first and second. Hell, the 8v is even non-interference. Snap the t-belt, call for a tow and pop one on when you get the chance.

    But doesn't the quality on the MK1 suck, as compared to the E30?

    I love driving MK1's --- I just can't deal with the poor quality interiors, the rust, the wiring issues.

    MK2's are my favorite, for these reasons.
