I'd rather have a 4 door XLT but extended cab is just as nice. 93 so which engine is it with gas on the rise again it makes me leery of buying a bigger gas powered truck. But diesel is still being sold at beyond premium rates for unknown reasons.

SS : 290/315 on the stage 1 kit and 30mpg on my 66 mile daily commute. Looks are subjective... I know many people don't like it :p. Also plenty of room for the single speed convert mountain bike and snowboard/ paintball junk.

Its got the 5.0, i doubt i will use it for much towing, maybe a uhaul car trailer here and there when I pick up a project. And for gas mileage, i drive 3 miles each way to work, not really an issue. I wanted a 95-96 as they have driverside airbag and a few minor upgrades, but this was was pretty nice, and I got it for $2100. Plus rust is minimal and this truck only has 120 k on it. I really wanted to find a 6 cyl 5spd 4x4, but with extended cab thats like finding a non-sunroof e30 325i.

Still has a little ways to go (more money) but it's close. The only thing original to the vehicle is the cab and driver door. Sitting on a Nova frame.

thats my buddys girls mk1 jetta 5spd diesel its pretty sweet...it had no floors when they got it hahah its coming along well though its got floors now hahahah!
