Yeah, I installed the turbo myself. It was a pain because I did the work on jackstands.
Also, the manifold we bought from Proturbo Finland didn't fit and we had to put a spacer on the engine mount and do a bunch of lame stuff to get it in there.
I installed 4" because I want more free flow than 3". Sure 3" is sufficiant, but 4" does flow a lot better. We'll see what happens when I get to the dyno.
The only reason I could get clearance for a 4" exhaust, is because of my large wheels.
The engine management is going in today. I'm using a perfect power SMT6.Comment

some people here go for classic styling, others go for all out speed and attention.Originally posted by Dan PinderAttack all you want. I could care less because it's my car, built the way I want, and I love it. :D
I figure I am pushing around 300hp right now at 12psi. It really needs tuning and when I get the engine management installed we will tune the car for 15psi. With the custom ground turbo cam we have in there, I expect something over 350hp.
I have 52lb injectors, but I don't know if the SMT6 will be able to control them properly. The other plan is to use an injector boss and install a single 52lb injector to go with the 24lb injectors and FMU. We'll see how it goes.
Yes they are 19's.
All urethane bushings from bmwbushings.com: Subframe, offset rear trailing arms, differential, offset control arms. It doesn't seem too much louder for road noise and they made a great improvement. Especially the differential bushing.
you made your choice and i respect that you are going all in to back up the flashy stuff.
but when you are done, think of the children, for God's sake won't somebody please think of the childrenComment

must be the funniest thing to see someone scrape their exhaust when the car is just about the height of a 4x4.....Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube
