Lookin sharp, Chris! Those are 15" RZ's, right? I wish mine were polished like that.

Bummed that I'm more than likely going to be the only e30 this year Sean
It was a nice rainy weekend, so I did a little work.
bits and pieces all over the place, thats usually a good sign.

What a mess!

Hey, its looking like a car again.

I'm now paranoid that my center caps will falloff/get stolen, anyone have some tips on how to keep these suckers locked tight?
I took these in a parking garage where I always see a stockish e30 on bcaps parked, well I drove by and I think the owner was walking into the building. Got a thumbs up so I must have done something right so far.
Not really finished, valance is still bent to hell as are the fenders, but its not really worth it to do all the work on them when new sheet metal is so cheap. This being a dd I'm going to hold off on paint for a bit, at least until after winter. Try for some better lit shots soon.Leave a comment:

Awww...Im gonna miss the BH Rally :(Ansa as recommended by rwdrift. It was cheap and sounds good, no rasp/drone and fairly quiet until you get on it. I know they rust out blah blah blah, who cares.
Having an odd problem, I get a stutter around 3500rpm, and a cel (lambada), only the first time after the battery has been disconnected. I can reset the cel and it will not come back, engine revs fine and everything seems to be normal. I still want to know why it is doing it that first time and fix it.
I also broke my sewing machine, oops.
Black Hills Rally in 30 days, I better get this thing finished.
Did you see I may need to replace my headgasket? I BE LEAKING COOLANT!
oh and my driveshaft has gone bad. lol

Well it's been a while. Been busy doing landscaping/irrigation at my parents new place, after doing that crap all day I've been too tired to do anything to the cars. I did a little bit tonight and hopefully will have everything tidied up and have some finished photos soon.
My exhaust got into a fight with a speed bump and lost.

It had a nice leak, PO only used the best quality parts available ;)

Thats a little better. UPS man dinged it up a little

Needs a cleaning, but most everything is done under the hood.

Sweet deal man. thanks for the input. Idk if the urethane ones are easier to adjust. w/e its not that high on my list yet.Leave a comment:

*shrug*

They are rubber, I don't know exactly what brand, but the PO had a bunch of parts he never got around to putting on in a plastic bag for me when I picked up the car. The suspension is not what I'd choose either, but like I said, it will be replaced if/when it fails, or I get a wild hair up my ass and decide to do it. The eccentrics are ok, but a PITA and will probably cost you extra at the alignment shop.
Thanks for all the comments guys, a few more things to finish up this weekend and I should have some autox pictures to share!Leave a comment:

Well, I know people will give me shit for this, but its on tokico springs/struts(blue ones). They were on the car when I got it, and I'd planned to replace them when they fail (have the parts laying around). The stance is pretty good (they settle a good inch atleast) and while the ride isn't as nice as H&R + billys, its pretty darn close as far as comfort goes. There is a bit more body roll on track/autox, but this car being a dd I'm willing to sacrifice a little performance for comort. RTAB's are eccentric, I would not install these again and would use other methods to correct rear camber instead, but they came with the car when I bought to so I gave em' a shot. There are easier ways to do it.
Everything else is just fresh bushings/lines etc.
FWIW, rz + azenis = 36lbs  At least they look good!
Sweet! Its not what id buy but seeing as you got it on the car and you like it who gives a fuck. Thanks for the insight on the eccentrics i was sort ov leaning towards them. Are the ones you have rubber or the urethane ones? I know Kmac or w/e sells urethane ones and i think i found rubbers too.
Keep it up.Leave a comment:

Gainesville is pretty harmless for the most part. He must've been hangin out on the east side of town.
Don't want to laugh at your cousin, but that is kind of a funny story for Gainesville.Leave a comment:
