I was just too lazy to remove the rear adjusters to see what it looked like. :)

Here is the actual drivable stance.

    Some minor updates...

Well, I got sick and tired of looking at this.

So out came the grinder, what a mess underneath.

Lots of pulling, pounding, welding and such got me within 1/8" at the worst spot. Not much I could do short of cutting out the section and welding in a new one. Theres still a low spot near the door right below the body line, I didn't want to build up that much weld and/or filler. No, paint doesn't match, I need to get a can that does.

A little filler was necessary, but a lot less than there was before.

Went on the black hills rally, almost hit a few deer, lots of fun!

Tumble weeds running rampant in the area.

It's customary to have a 'spirited' early sunday morning drive on this trip, this year it was cold, rainy, with sleet at the higher elevations. Some of us decided to go for a drive anyway.

The brown thing is a deer, I almost hit 3 of them :tsk:

Short video of the section of iron mountain road we've come to call the 'gokart track' very fun roads up there, something everyone should experience at least once. Before anyone makes a comment, we were all taking it very easy since it was so cold and wet out. We also had the images of an e36 m3 spinning into the ditch the day prior, and that same car spinning again earlier that morning writing off two wheels and a rear strut mount. So yes, I was just cruising along.

Everyone got back home safely, autocross the weekend after.

    Well, the rear brakes work.

    Ung soft springs.

Winter is coming soon, so getting ready for that fun time, theres still rally x in the snow! Got some bmw steelies for free, woo!

I'm pretty happy with it also, it is very visible even in daytime, the only problem is the low angle leds, but I've got them spread out enough that they work well at all but the most extreme angles.

It looks good, quite a transformation! :) No gas tank problems this time??
Yessir, amazing what a little buffing can do! That was not a tank leak, it was a capped evap canister and leaky filler neck oring. Those guys will never let me live that one down

Glad everyone likes it, doing what I can with what I've got.

    Few dirty snaps today -

    mmmm chips ahoy

Before anyone asks, yes that is tape on the front. Wanted to see what it looked like and I think I'll be making some plastic bits to fill those holes.
