Thought id post some pics of my reshell.
As some of you may know my old pre facelift was suffering from hidden rust in the sunroof tray.This prompted me to just buy another E30 as there was no way i could afford the cost of proper repair/repaint.
So i bought this 316i in Vulcan Grey.It is in amazing condition for the year and has virtually no rust anywhere:)
I also found out that this colour is very rare on an E30.Apparently only 50 were produced by BMW,test colour for the E34/E36.
Picked it up 2 weeks ago and already the car is transformed.
All the mechanicals from my old car have now been fitted inc full front and rear suspension/brakes/steering.
Black rooflining/electric roof/leather etc all swapped.
Today i started the engine swapover.Just got to do the wiring on it which ill do tomorrow and do a couple more bits then its just silly little jobs like refit all the stereo gear etc.
